There is something quietly powerful about making something with your own hands and this camp is where that starts. Sewing & Textile Camp is a two-day hands-on experience for ages 8–16 that meets you exactly where you are, whether you're picking up a needle for the very first time or you already know your way around a sewing machine. Over two days you won't just sew you'll create. Paint on fabric. Embroider. Piece together. Build something textile from the ground up and then stitch it into a finished summer project you'll actually want to use. We're keeping the reveal close to the chest, but let's just say it's the kind of thing that makes people ask "wait, you made that?" Every step is guided, every pace is respected, and every camper leaves with more than they came in with. Small by design. Six spots only. Every camper gets hands-on attention, real instruction, and the space to actually create. Bring a sack lunch, water, and a snack. Curiosity is the only thing required. Pick up: All participants must be picked up on time. Liability Waiver, Medical Consent & Media Release Positive Change, LLC By registering for or participating in any class, camp, workshop, lesson, or event hosted by Positive Change, LLC, I acknowledge and agree to the following: I understand that sewing activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to the use of sewing machines, scissors, rotary cutters, irons, needles, and electrical equipment, which may result in injury. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Positive Change, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, representatives, and hosting facilities from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from injury, illness, or loss sustained during participation, whether for myself or my minor child. In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Positive Change, LLC to obtain medical treatment if I cannot be reached, and I accept responsibility for any related costs. I grant permission for photographs and/or video taken during programs to be used for promotional purposes. I confirm that I am at least 18 years old or the parent/legal guardian of the participant, and I agree to these terms voluntarily.
