Wrap yourself in something you made with your own two hands — it's giving handmade, it's giving stunning, it's giving you. You found it at the thrift store. A lace tablecloth. A gorgeous piece of fabric with the most perfect drape. Something that made you stop and think — what could I make with this? This is exactly what you make with this. The Summer Wearables workshop is two days of flowing, creative, zero-pressure sewing where you transform your thrifted treasure into a stunning wearable wrap. Short and breezy or long and dramatic the length is yours to choose, the fabric is already yours, and the whole experience is designed to be as relaxed and beautiful as the garment you're making. Every skill level is welcome. No experience necessary. Come with your fabric, leave with a kimono, wear it absolutely everywhere. No machine? No problem. Ours are ready and waiting. Want to try a serger while you are at it? Projects can include: - Kimonos - Wrap skirt - Wrap pants - Flowy Pants - Flowy shorts - Circle Skirts - Patchwork anything! - Wrap Tie Tops! - So many great options! You choose! Max 6 students per session. 🛍️ What to Bring Before the workshop head to your local thrift store and grab a lace tablecloth or any NON-STRETCH fabric that speaks to you — you'll want at least 3 yards for a shorter wrap, up to 5 yards for a long flowing kimono. Pick up: All participants must be picked up on time. Liability Waiver, Medical Consent & Media Release Positive Change, LLC By registering for or participating in any class, camp, workshop, lesson, or event hosted by Positive Change, LLC, I acknowledge and agree to the following: I understand that sewing activities involve inherent risks, including but not limited to the use of sewing machines, scissors, rotary cutters, irons, needles, and electrical equipment, which may result in injury. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to release, waive, and hold harmless Positive Change, LLC, its owners, employees, contractors, representatives, and hosting facilities from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses arising from injury, illness, or loss sustained during participation, whether for myself or my minor child. In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize Positive Change, LLC to obtain medical treatment if I cannot be reached, and I accept responsibility for any related costs. I grant permission for photographs and/or video taken during programs to be used for promotional purposes. I confirm that I am at least 18 years old or the parent/legal guardian of the participant, and I agree to these terms voluntarily.
