Service Description
Group & Birthday Sewing Workshops Celebrate a birthday, gather friends, or create something meaningful together with a private group sewing workshop. These workshops are designed to be relaxed, supportive, and confidence-building—perfect for beginners and adaptable for more experienced sewists. Sew much fun for everyone! Workshops are held at your location and include complete setup and takedown of sewing machines and materials, so you can focus on enjoying the experience. Pricing Overview Starting at $250, which includes: 2.5 hours of instruction 4 students 1 small project All project materials included Setup and takedown of sewing machines Additional students: $60 per person Maximum group size: 12 students, 8 machines available for use. Workshops are fully customizable and can be extended up to 4.5 hours. Longer sessions can include: Time for cake, lunch, or snacks Built-in breaks Expanded instruction or more detailed projects Please note: Pricing does not include travel costs for locations outside Burlington city limits. Space Requirements Hosting is easier than most people expect. All that’s needed is: One large dining table or a couple of tables Enough chairs for participants A standard home outlet for sewing machines If you’re unsure whether your space will work, we can talk it through during booking. Projects & Materials Small projects: All materials are included (Examples may include tote bags, aprons, stuffies, pillowcases, or simple accessories) Larger or more advanced projects: Fabric not included Fabric must be prewashed prior to class Fabric requirements and guidance are provided ahead of time Projects are selected based on your group’s interests, skill level, and workshop length. Quick FAQ Do participants need sewing experience? Nope! Workshops are beginner-friendly and adjusted to meet your group where they are. Do you bring the sewing machines? Yes. Setup and takedown of sewing machines are included in the base price. Can we choose our project? Absolutely. Project options are discussed during booking to ensure a great fit for your group and time frame. Can we take breaks for food or cake? Yes! Longer workshops can include planned breaks for cake, lunch, or snacks.
Cancellation Policy
Registration: All participants must sign in at every class, lesson, workshop, or camp they attend for each day they attend it. Cancelations: Credits for a future programs can be applied if canceled 48 hours before program date, otherwise no refunds. No refunds or credits on any programs under memberships. Forms: All participants and/or guardians must complete the Hold Harmless Agreement and Photo Consent Agreement in order to participate in class. Pick up: All participants must be picked up on time. After 5 mins, a charge of $1 per min will be applied to your account. Clean up: All participants are expected to keep their areas tidy and clean after use.
