This 5-week adult sewing course is for anyone who’s been curious about sewing or wants to feel comfortable using a machine — no experience necessary. We’ll be making pajama bottoms and a robe, and I’ll walk you through everything step by step. This is a hands-on, low-pressure class where you can learn at your own pace, ask questions, and actually enjoy the process. We’ll cover things like: How to use a sewing machine safely and confidently Creating your own pattern Cutting fabric and prepping your pieces Sewing pajama bottoms and a robe from start to finish Clean finishing techniques An optional intro to using a serger What’s provided: Sewing machines and sergers (you are welcome and encouraged to bring your own to learn on!) Tools and equipment during class Ongoing guidance and help each week What you’ll need to bring: Fabric for both projects (about 2.5–3 yards per project, depending on whether you would like knee or floor length, cotton, cozy/snuggle cotton or fleece). **Make sure to wash your fabric prior to class!** Thread and basic notions, scissors, seam ripper, measuring tape.
