Ready to ditch the fast fashion and create something truly unique that's all your style? Our intensive one-day Teen Fashion Design & Sewing Camp is crafted for young designers aged 13-18, no matter your experience level! Whether you're a complete beginner or looking to sharpen your skills, this Teen Fashion Camp in Skagit Valley is your chance to learn, experiment, and express yourself by making actual clothing. Dive into the exciting world of fashion sewing as you learn essential techniques: safely mastering the sewing machine, understanding different fabric types, precise cutting, and bringing a garment to life. You'll work on cool, wearable projects like a stylish skirt, comfy shorts, trendy pants, or a fun romper. This camp is all about building real apparel-making skills and creating a piece you'll be incredibly proud to wear! We provide a supportive and inspiring studio environment. Sewing machines are available to reserve free of charge, or you're welcome to bring your own from home. We'll have a dedicated 1-hour lunch break and two smaller breaks throughout the day. Please bring your own lunch and a water bottle; a microwave and refrigerator are available if needed. Get excited to shop for your materials right here at camp! We'll have a fantastic selection of pre-washed, non-stretch fabrics (3 yards total, 2 prints) available for purchase when you arrive, so you can pick the perfect look for your project. Plus, all your essential sewing notions will come in a convenient kit, also available for purchase. Of course, you're always welcome to bring your own supplies if you prefer. Spaces are limited!
