Sewing Workshop: Beginner to Refresher Ever wanted to learn how to sew but don’t know where to begin? Or maybe you just need a refresher to get back into the swing of things? Join our comprehensive workshop designed for both novices and those looking to brush up on their skills. What You’ll Learn: Proper care and use of the sewing machine Basic sewing techniques Projects: Choose between two small projects or one larger project Materials: Materials are not included; please see the list below for what you’ll need to bring. Please wash all fabric prior to class. Details: No previous experience necessary. We encourage you to bring your own sewing machine. If you don’t have one, a limited number are available for use. This is a longer class with a break; please bring your own food and beverages. Location: Classes are held at a private residence in Burlington or at your residence (travel fee starts at $20 for locations 5 miles or more outside Burlington city limits). Come join us and discover the joy of sewing in a supportive and informative environment! Projects and Materials List *Wash all Fabric Before Class *Universal needles unless otherwise noted *All Purpose Thread Choose 2 Infinity Scarf - 1 yd or two .5 yd cotton fabrics Fingerless Gloves - .5yd fleece fabric Cinch Tote Bag - .5 yd and .25 yd cotton, outdoor, upholstery fabric (none stretch) 2ft strap or rope Shopping Tote Page: 1 yd cotton, outdoor, upholstery fabric (none stretch). or Choose One Pj Bottoms: 2.5 to 3 yds (height over 5.8") cozy flannel fabric. 1 inch elastic waistband roll Robe: 3.5 - 4 yds (depending on desired length) cozy flannel or fleece. Blanket: Two 2 yds of fleece
