Hypnotherapy for Infertility

Pregnancy testIf you have been looking after your physical body (reducing alcohol, improving your diet, and so on..) why not look into clearing your mind of stress, worry and destructive thought patterns which can considerably affect the fragile environment needed for conception?

There is both clinical and anecdotal evidence to suggest that a course of Hypnotherapy can help natural and assisted conception.

Some studies report that as high 90% of unexplained fertility is caused by stress and worry. Stress causes actual hormonal changes within the body which directly affect ability to conceive and being unable to conceive generates it's own stress and worry which creates a vicious circle.

Hypnosis is a safe, natural complementary therapy which can remove blocks to fertility as well as rebalancing the body and mind, so that conditions are psychologically favourable for conception. Tests and trails have repeatedly demonstrated Hypnotherapy treatment to be very helpful for unexplained infertility and also when used alongside assisted conception (such as IVF/ GIFT / AI & ICSI).

Clinical studies on couples receiving IVF treatment show that the overall chance of having a baby with IVF was around 25%. In a control group having IVF who also agreed to a course of hypnotherapy, the success rate went up to 75%.

I have undergone additional specialist training with a leader in this field, and offer this private and confidential service for women trying to conceive. It is a relaxing, safe and natural process.

Up to 6 sessions of Hypnotherapy treatment is recommended for both partners.
