Counselling & Psychotherapy

Introduction

Sometimes it helps to

  • Talk to a neutral person who is trained to listen without judgement
  • Have professional support and guidance
  • See things from a different perspective
  • Find clarity & peace of mind

without waiting months on the NHS waiting lists
without needing a GP or Psychiatrist referral
without it needing to go on your medical or work record

The modern and informal sessions are usually semi structured and likely to involve some guidance, direction and information. We will usually explore elements of your life from the past, present and future. This makes for efficient and effective therapy which may be a little different from any previous counselling or therapy you may have had.

Clients often say they leave therapy sessions with insight, clarity and direction. A course of sessions could help you to find yourself, increase self confidence and empower you to feel more in control.

We usually start with 3 or 6 sessions and then review, this helps keep us on track.

Some of the things you learn about yourself or others often stays with you and continues to benefit you and the people close to you for many years to come.

Most clients say they find their sessions enjoyable.
